Delete your AMC Train account
You can permanently delete your AMC Train account and the data linked to it. Deletion happens straight away once you confirm, and can't be undone.
In the app
Open AMC Train, go to More → Profile → Delete account, type DELETE and confirm.
On this page, without the app
- Enter the email address you use for AMC Train.
- We email that address a confirmation link. This proves the account is yours, so nobody else can delete it.
- Open the link within 60 minutes, type DELETE and confirm. Your account is deleted straight away and we email you to confirm.
No longer have access to that email address? Email andrewmcduffcoaching@yahoo.com from an address we can match to your account, or with details only the account holder would know. We'll check it's you before deleting anything, and reply within one month.
What is deleted
- Your login and account details (name, email address, password)
- Workouts, saved routines, custom exercises and training history
- Food diary, custom foods, pantry and nutrition targets
- Bodyweight, measurements, progress entries and progress photo records
- Goals, notes, recovery and check-in logs, GLP-1 tracking
- Consent records, privacy requests and app activity linked to you
- Any Premium subscription, which is cancelled straight away, and your saved card at Stripe
What we keep, and why
- Invoices and payment records, kept for 6 years because UK tax law (HMRC) requires it. Stripe, our payment provider, also keeps its own payment records for this reason.
- A short anonymous note that a deletion was carried out (the date and record counts, not your name or email), so we can show we did it if asked.
- Files you uploaded, such as progress photos and food photos, are unlinked from your account and can no longer be opened from the app. Our hosting provider does not currently let us erase the stored file itself.
- Short-lived backups and version history kept by our hosting provider, which expire on its normal schedule. Nothing is restored from them.
